Rockhampton Regional Council this week voted unanimously to name its newest cultural asset, Rockhampton Museum of Art. A public poll voted on the successful name.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said ‘”Rockhampton Museum of Art” is synonymous with a world-class collection in what will be a landmark building on Quay Street next to Customs House.
