In recent years, our state galleries and art museums across the country have turned to big-ticket blockbuster exhibitions by icons of fashion in order to attract audiences. We have welcomed exhibitions by Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino, Holly Costumes, Collette Dinnigan, and Issey Miyake to Australia.
