ICYMI: The week’s top news in the arts

Art in the Vines, Jaipur Literature Festival, Māori artefacts on their way home, Hazel Rowley Fellowship opens, and more.

Following on from last year’s successful Art in the Vines – Sculpture Exhibition & Trail, Hanging Rock Winery has announced a second exhibition, Art in the Vines – Sculpture in Motion.

It will follow the same format as last year’s inaugural event, but this year the focus is on kinetic sculpture – sculpture that relies on motion for its effect. Exhibition Curator Malcolm Thomson has again secured an enviable line-up of artists to feature, with their works-of-art to be installed against the Macedon Ranges’ most iconic backdrop of the vineyard, Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon.
