Director of the Tate Modern Chris Dercon insists that fashion is not art, and top Belgian fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck agrees.

At RMIT on Monday night seminal Antwerp Six fashion designer, Walter Van Beirendonck and Tate Modern Director Chris Dercon, two renowned leaders in the creative industries, delved into the world of fashion in the lead up to Beirendonck’s retrospective exhibition Dream the World Awake.
