Indian architect to take on Melbourne’s MPavilion

Attendances grow for Melbourne’s newest festival pavilion, and its international vision continues with announcement of next architect.

The Naomi Milgrom Foundation had good news this week. It reported that 76,000 visitors attended over 419 free events that were hosted within the Foundation’s temporary architecture pavilion in Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Gardens.

MPavilion had been designed by award-winning British architect Amanda Levete of London-based studio AL_A, and held the spotlight for four months. The program wrapped up this past Sunday boasting more than 342 cultural collaborations between artists, architects, institutions, musicians, dancers, scientists and designers.
