Australia Council Chair Rupert Myer
Both appointments expired on Wednesday with the end of the financial year, but the Minister for the Arts Senator Brandis has not yet announced whether their terms will be renewed.
Both Myer and Archer were appointed for three year terms in June 2012. There has been speculation that the lack of an announcement means the incumbents will not be reappointed.
