On March 31st the Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CHASS) ran a workshop at the Sydney Theatre Company titled The Arts, and the Innovation Agenda. The sector gathered to respond to the Rudd government's proposed innovation system, and the announcement of $17 million over four years for a new Creative Industries Innovation Centre. RMIT’s Lisa French was there.
